On the way to the Greina Plateau. The easyest hike to the Greina Plateau is from Pian Geirett over the Greina Pass to the Greina Plateau. One way is only about 6 km long and 400 meters difference in altitude. The Greina Plateau is a unique Alpine tundra landscape at an elevation of 2'200 meters. It's a protected landscape. Fantastic mountain scenery, we saw some alpine ibexes (Capricorn), some chamois and lots of marmots. Picture taken in July 2015.
