We had actually planned to go camp else in the Sierra Nevada of Southern California but there were so many mosquitoes that we had to flee to higher ground. Mount Langley was kind of on the way and totally mosquitoe-free. I was very thankful since my bivvy bag doesn't even have a net. And the view over the Sierra Nevada and the dry desert towards the East was nothing short of spectacular.
