Iron Gate Reservoir is located near Hornbrook, California & was created in 1964 from the Iron Gate Dam, a 173 foot hydroelectric dam.  This view is from Overlook Park, a pulloff w/ a picnic area.  This lake is one of four along the Klamath River that will have its dam removed by the year 2020 under the Klamath Economic Restoration Act.
