Wehrkirche im Schlosshof.
Bad König, das einzige Thermalheilbad im Odenwaldkreis liegt am Fluss Mümling. Neben dem modernen Brunnen- und Kurbereich mit der Odenwaldtherme, gibt es hier viele kleine Gassen mit alten historischen Bauten zu besichtigen. Zum Beispiel am Schlossplatz, mit der Rentmeisterei, dem Alten- und dem Neuen Schloss, und im Innenhof des Schlosses die barocke evangelische Kirsche von 1750. Deren dreigeschossiger Wehrkirchenturm wurde vom Vorgängerbau aus 1497 übernommen. Am südlichen Ende des Hofes befindet sich eine Barocktreppe. Sie verbindet den Schlossinnenhof mit dem Lustgarten, der erhöht hinter dem Schloss und der Evangekischen Kirche liegt. Es handelt sich bei dieser Barocktreppe um eine zweiläufige Freitreppe mit reich verziertem Geländer. In den Treppenaugang ist eine Brunnennische integriert, die diese Treppe auszeichnet.
