Asturias

forest fire in the saline asturias  Salinas (Salinas asturiano1) is a parish council Castrillon, in the Principality of Asturias (Spain). Has a population of 4517 inhabitants (INE 2009) 2 in 2623 homes. It covers an area of 3.77 km ². Salinas is a seaside resort and is the second most populous municipality, behind its capital, Piedras Blancas, which is 2 km. The parish bounded on the north by the Cantabrian Sea to the east, with councils and Aviles Gozón the south by the de Aviles, and the west by the parish of Laspra. It has a one of the longest beaches in Asturias, being divided into three: Salinas itself, TheEspartal and San Juan. Salinas anchors houses the Museum of Philippe Cousteau, in which environment is the monument of Philippe Cousteau, the work of VicenteMenendez-Santarúa Prendes.  http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salinas_(Castrillón)
