Echuca Wharf, situated on the Murray River in Victoria, Australia, is a historic timber wharf with a rich past. Its construction in 1864 coincided with the building of the railway line connecting Echuca to Melbourne, propelling the Port of Echuca to become Victoria's second-largest port and granting access to Melbourne's ports and markets for the vast Murray-Darling basin. Today, the wharf remains operational, catering to paddlesteamers that serve the tourism industry. Its significance led to its inclusion on the Australian National Heritage List in 2007. In 2015, a comprehensive restoration project revitalized the Wharf, replacing much of its original timber structure with locally sourced Red Gum pylons, planks, and beams, ensuring its continued preservation and functionality.
