Civita di Bagnoregio ("King's Bath"), founded in 6th century over a tuffaceous hill, was abandoned after two earthquakes in 1695 and 1794.

It is now permanently inhabited by a bunch of people, but every year thousands of tourists visit the beautiful "dying city"...
