The ancestor of the settlement from 1725 belonged to Szeged, police stations were assigned the boondocks belonging to him. In 1891 Szeged top centre a settlement was founded on a name. The took shape a farm centre performed administrative tasks, and a school, a veterinary surgery, a gendarmerie were at his disposal with a parish, a church, physician's office, and with the Catholic folk house built up by the hosts living here.
