This baroque church and the small square in front of it are one of the most picturesque places on the "Riviera dei Fiori" (Riviera dei Fiori, the western coast of Liguria, in Northern Italy). It is also known as the "Coral Church" because the funds needed for its construction came partly from the earnings of local coral fishermen. This small place feels like a natural stage, high above the sea and with such a beautiful backdrop. It is so characteristic that for decades it has been chosen to host a well-known summer classical music festival.
