Chapel located on a rocky outcrop at the top of the Serra de São Mamede, the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Penha is preceded by a long stairway, which ends in the churchyard bordering the chapel, where a cross rises, placed here at the beginning of the 20th century. This is a privileged viewpoint, overlooking the village, which is observed in all its extension, and from which you can see much more distant territories.
