Liberty Lake is one of many lakes in the glacially carved canyons of the Ruby Mountains of Nevada.  At near 10,000 feet elevation it is a blue-green gem set in the gray rock and high wilderness greenery.

This photo was taken approximately half way between the lake and Liberty Pass to the north that connects the Kleckner and Lamoille canyons.
