Juvstøyl was the summerfarm for Kleppo in Eidsborg. This was in full drift up to the 1900's, and was used for growing winter fodder  up to 1945. In 1954 a cable lift was built to transport tibmer from Juvstøyl, down  the steep hillside to "Flardingplassen" by the side of the fjord.
